Christmas at Sweet Stampin' - A Little Sunshine

Hello, Christmas Lovers!
If it snowed in Florida, would we still be called The Sunshine State?
I hope so, and so do my little characters today.

Today begins a new challenge at
Christmas at Sweet Stampin'!

My brilliant teammates have fantastic samples to share! The challenge is ANYTHING GOES for ANY Christmas theme craft project. July's Challenge is open until August 10 and has an optional theme of Sunshine!

This cute Snow Couple was colored with Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 Color Pencils and Gamsol.  Such a loving couple, I cannot help but be attracted to them.

The sunshine is stenciled, contrary to our Florida Sunshine, which is vibrant all year!

  • Bugaboo Snowmen Couple
  • Dies: SB Scallop Labels One, SB Grand Scallop Squares
  • Inks: Adirondack Stonewashed Denim and Pool, Distress Lemonade and Straw, Memento Tuxedo Black
  • Colored with: Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 Color Pencils and Gamsol

Challenges I'd like to play in please:

  1. Merry Little Christmas Challenge #12 Anything Christmas Goes 8/1
  2. Cute N Crafty Challenge #29 Christmas in July 7/28 (sep post)
  3. The Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge #52 Anything Goes Christmas 7/28

What? I see no glitter on this card. Just kidding, it’s just I’m so used to seeing your cards having plenty of sparkle. This is so cute. The stenciled sun is a great addition.

Love this cute and happy snow couple. As a fellow Floridian they better have on some sunscreen AND live in the deep freezer most of the time.

Love your colored pencil coloring. I'm still learning with mine. I think I need a lot of practice as I've used nothing but Copics for years. [Bunny]

What was I thinking, Pia! Yikes! Quick! Grab some adhesive and some glitter! LOL
too funny.
I am so accustomed to using glitter, that if I finish a card without it, it seems undone!
thanks for the fun comment!

This is absolutely ADORABLE Donna. Such a cute couple.

Oh, they're adorable and immediately recognizable as a Bugaboo stamp. You know how I love my Bugaboos! I colored four of them while we were camping, but now playing catch up so it will be a while before I make and photograph cards. Your snowpeople look so happy in the sunshine! Good thing it's still cold enough to keep them intact. I love your scalloped card and the sweet bow, too.

Rocky said...

Really cute, let's hope they don't melt. Love the colours reflected in the ribbon, clever.

I love your sweet card! I do think it would still be called the sunshine state if it snowed once...but not if it snowed like up here in Illinois : ) Your coloring is just beautiful!!!
