Sigh. All good things must come to an end. This is my final Guest Design card with my wonderful mice buddies at House Mouse and Friends!
SPECIAL HOLIDAY CHALLENGE
#256 Anything Christmas Goes
December 11th through January 8th
There are so many darling stories these House Mouse stamps tell. My imagination smiles and giggles while coloring them, and putting the cards together.
These two characters were misbehaving all night, when they were finally told that Santa would not come until they ceased their shenanigans and went to sleep. They stopped right where they were, closed their eyes -- and
did they REALLY fall immediately to sleep? Or are they pretending?
What do you think?
Colored with Copic Markers, the darling House Mouse image (called FRIENDLY DREAMS) was die cut with a pretty Sue Wilson die - Indian Ocean - Maldives CED10015.
Bringing out more of my AGES OLD K&C paper, it has been embellished with awesome Champagne Glass Glitter. I wish you could see it in real life - what sparkle this has! AND easy to use without glittery particles floating around, too!
(click on the photo below for a close-up of this glitter please)
The glass glitter was adhered with Nuvo Glitter Accents Aztec Gold. I chose this as "adhesive" because all the crevices were covered with the same color of glittery goodness between the chunky glass glitter pieces. It really affords a nice dimensional look whether used alone, or adding more glitter atop.
It's been such a pleasure designing with the Mousie crowd these two months!
Lovely Challenges to play in please!

This image is nicely colored and I love how colorful and festive it looks. The dies you used are beautiful and showcase the image wonderfully. The bright red bow and the lace are beautiful. [Bunny]
They are just pretending to be asleep so that Santa will leave them some treats! What a fun image and I love the way you colored it and all the sweet little touches you put on this card! Just gorgeous Donna!!

Puuuuuurrrrrfect sentiment lol Love your pretty background of greens and the golden corners! That image is so sweet! I picture Penny and Hank this way come Christmas Eve--and they'll be here! Merry Merry!
Since both cats and mice are nocturnal they are pretending. Awesome card, beautiful colouring and great design, the glass glitter is beautiful.
Hi Donna this is a stunning Christmas card I do love that image. The poem is one of my favourites and the quote goes so well with the image. Take care. Hugs Jackie

I think they're just pretending...as soon as no one's looking they'll be up to mischief again! :) Beautiful colouring of this sweet image and a fabulous design.
Can't believe the extremes of weather you are experiencing...must be a nasty shock to find the temperature has plummeted so dramatically in such a short space of time! Keep warm!

Those two do look like trouble, don't they! I love how you've framed this image, there is so much in this card to discover, and that glitter does look awesome. Thank you for playing along with the Christmas Card Throwdown.

Oh my goodness they are adorable, I do think that they are truly tired out, at least the mouse looks that way, you just never know about those sneaky cats :) I love how it fits just perfectly in your lovely diecut and I do love the way you used the glass glitter, I have some silver and never know what to really do with it.
Your image is so cute. I think they really could be pretending to sleep, kitties can especially be mischievous that way!!! I always enjoy your entries in the PIP Challenges and this week is no different! Thanks for playing along in the Wintery fun!!!
Super cute card Donna :-) the image is adorable but as an owner of 7 cats I dread to think what would happen to a poor wee mouse if it tried to sleep on one of them ;-) Your colouring is fabulous and I love the die cuts and papers, the whole design is gorgeous, LOVE it :-)

I think they played cat and mouse for so long that they exhausted themselves right out. What a fun stamp, and you colored up the kitten and mouse so beautifully. Love the gold glitter and that die is lovely. We have so enjoyed having you creating alongside us and appreciate the beautiful work you have shared with us. Awesome card, Donna.

Hope you're staying warm this week. Temperatures seem to have taken a dip in most places and I see that so many people have gotten some snow (even me), woohoo!! Do you get any snow where you are? It's been years since we didn't have a green Christmas and I think I'll be happy for the change. I got your email and will try to respond soon. sending hugs :)
If it is like my house, I think they are pretending...lol...and once my back is turned they are into mischief!! Super cute card and stamp and a gorgeous design..I love the bright Christmas colors and the added chunky glitter is perfect...now you make me want to get my HM stamps out and join in, wish I had time...sigh!!
This made me laugh, I think they are exhausted from destroying the tree. Cute and fun. Thanks for playing along at Christmas Card Throwdown.
Too cute, lovely Christmas card. Thanks for sharing at Merry Monday.
Hi Donna! Your card is PRECIOUS! I love that image and how you've added it to that gorgeous lacy die cut. I've always enjoyed seeing the House Mouse cards you've made, and it's sad this is the last you will be doing with the DT. Your coloring on the image is spot on! I'm certain those two hooligans are fast asleep!
Now you are tempting me with showing off that glitter! It's gorgeous! What a pretty design you've created with the laces and stunning bow! Thank you for your inspiration!
I have mixed emotions about your cooler weather. We are leaving for FL tomorrow (Oh, dear, still so much to do!) to take my Mom to see Trans Siberian Orchestra in Tampa. I think we would love a little reprieve from our COLD damp weather here in NC!
Sending hugs your way!
Such a sweet card! Lovely image and colors!
