Sparkle N Sprinkle Leafy Spring Wreath

Hello, Sweet Blogging Friends!
Welcome to my little blog,
and to the reveal for a lovely new stamp set by Sparkle N Sprinkle and Beccy Muir called

Available both digitally and in rubber, it's a pretty set that is suitable for several occasions.
I used the rubber for the wreath, and the digital for the sentiments:

The first card is flat for mailing:
Nuvo Crystal Drops - Pearl White were used around the circle. The image is stamped and colored with markers. The sentiment is digital, part of the same set.

Some of the flowers are popped up because the wreath is recessed behind the basketweave layer:

Instead of layering the flowers directly atop the flowers beneath, I off-set them a little:

Nuvo Drops were also used in the flower centers with a touch of glitter.

A Pretty Yellow Wreath is always a friendly sight!

When creating cards, I try to plan the layout, and the rest is done to cover up boo-boos!

Interior (sentiment is a sneak peek):

The frame is actually "popped up", and the wreath is recessed beneath it:

The pretty Tonic Essentials Layered Leaves Embossing Folder is highlighted with some Brilliance ink pads, and distressed with Straw around the edges.

The Pretty floral spray was
created with:

dimensional flowers,

ribbon from DLArt,

Sizzix Branch with Leaves in vellum,

Sue Wilson Faux Quilled Leaves
coated with

Tulle,

a Martha Stewart heart
covered with

and some
pretty pearl flourishes.

Here's a close up of the
glittered items:

Lastly a sweet pink card with lacy elements:

The bow is made from my Great-Aunt Agnes's stash from the 1940s or 1950s. It's a pale pink with large scallops and scallops in the scallops (giggle).

While this frame is also popped up, it was done a bit differently:

The result is a much sturdier frame, and it looks fabulous in real life, easier to adhere, and gorgeously sparkle-full! I imagine a less sturdy cardboard would have been just as acceptable:

Interior:

Thanks for stopping by today!

Wow Donna, I'm sure where to start! These cards are beyond beautiful, and there was so much work and tlc put into all of them. The must have taken forever to make, I mean the fussy cutting alone!! wow!! The wreath stamp is just delightful and I adore how you cut out additional pieces of flowers and bows and layered the wreath up for dimension! Your colouring is just wonderful, the colours and shading, perfection! The same stamp, but three completely different cards! Love the pink glitter die cut layer on the last card, and of course all the pale pinks just drew me right in. lol. The yellow one is so bright and cheery, and I love the basket weave background on the first one. You sure have put these stamps to great use!!

I hope all is well with you. I apologize again for not returning your email. I think things will be calming down over the next week or so, and I will take some time to sit and write to you. Until then I send wishes to you and yours for a Happy Valentine's Day! hugs my friend :)

Oh my! How gorgeous, Donna! I love the way you have used these gorgeous dies and embossing folders to create three totally different masterpieces. So much dimension, even on the "flat" one! Love the pretty little flowers popped up. Beautiful coloring and cutting! My favorite is the yellow one. Love how you used the embossing folder on two layers, and how you highlighted the yellow layer. The bouquets are drop dead gorgeous on no. 2 and 3! Beautiful sparkly masterpieces!

Ohmyohmyohmy! You've been up to pretty again! Just look how gorgeous each of these is! Wowie! Love that basket weave and the offset popped up flowers on the first. I'm mighty partial to yellow, so the second card steals my heart. I also love how you dropped off the die to square the edges on that one. Clever! Then again, I adore the antique lace and sweet pink on the last card. All the glitter and embossing and die cuts and your coloring of the very sweet and pretty wreath make me want to go play in my room. I'm heavily influenced by all the many styles of card making, which, I suppose, is why I can't settle for one or the other. These are all magnificent, Donna!

Your cards are all beautiful but I especially like the first one with the woven EF. Your coloring on the wreaths is wonderful as always. I had been pondering whether I wanted to get the SW leaves you used and now that I see them on your card, I will be getting them for sure. Happy Heart Day Donna!

Three amazing looking designs with intricate detailing and beautiful touches. These all fabulous, but if I were to pick a a favorite it would probably be the yellow and green one. I love playing with yellow but it's harder with the green. But these colors are so springlike and the arrangement on the left with flowers, glittery leaves and organza is so beautiful!
