Today, I attempted some CAS cards. So difficult for me!
I wanted to show one technique, used four ways.
Each card was stamped with VersaMark Ink and White Detail Embossing Powder.
Two cards on black cardstock, two on a lavender-blue cardstock.
Three of the stamped images were then painted with bleach:
Before putting this card together, I ran the melon color through an embossing folder, and then inked the edges with VersaMark Ink and heat set Clear Detail Embossing Powder to deepen the embossed shapes and bring a little more desired vibrancy to the color of the cardstock:
This lavender-blue card is a lesson on covering up mistakes that occur when dropping things all over the card as you create (giggle):
Use your border punches or border dies repetitively on the the same project to create cohesive, visual interest. I love using my old punches. In this case, I covered up a multitude of boo-boos you hopefully cannot see. Another technique I employed was to apply glitter unsymmetrically (the tinsel across the bottom of the card and in the flowers. It helps when I make a cutting mistake in layers, and also provides a little sparkle without being overwhelming:I wanted to show one technique, used four ways.
Each card was stamped with VersaMark Ink and White Detail Embossing Powder.
Two cards on black cardstock, two on a lavender-blue cardstock.
Three of the stamped images were then painted with bleach:
After the bleach had dried, each of the cards was painted with Tombow Markers in the bleached areas:
Before putting this card together, I ran the melon color through an embossing folder, and then inked the edges with VersaMark Ink and heat set Clear Detail Embossing Powder to deepen the embossed shapes and bring a little more desired vibrancy to the color of the cardstock:

Sparkle N Sprinkle is retiring many of the "colors". Among them are this gorgeous semi-transparent Cherry Lemonade G1118. I love this soft "orange" color which allows the color of the card stock to show through. It reminds me of creamsicle ice cream (yummy!). This glitter is half price!
ENABLER ALERT: Check out all the SPECIALS and Close-outs here. The Close-Outs are on the "old" Sparkle N Sprinkle website.
The bleach on this card was colored with a variety of Tombow Marker colors:
APOLOGIES THAT LOOSE GLITTER HAS REFLECTED ALL OVER THE CARDS. The cameras these days pick up every tiny speck!
Another Black background - this one was not colored with any markers. The bleach did all the work.
It was fun using an old butterfly punch, coating it with Beach Ultrafine Glitter:
The second lavender-blue card is colored with blue Tombow markers:
The white frame is actually three Sue Wilson pierced rectangle dies - two were put through and cut, and then the middle die was added and passed through the machine again in embossing sandwich:
Doing The Unexpected-But-Simple things can often bring sweet rewards in our card making.
Next on the hop is the incredibly artistic Shona Erlenborn!
She always has meticulously photographed techniques featured in her blog posts.

Of course ... GORGEOUS! Intricate, amazing, and wonderful tutorials in how to make them. I love the bleaching, you did a fabulous job. I love how each card is similar, but they are all so different. These are magnificent. LOVE what you have done :)
Wow, Donna, these are absolutely gorgeous! I love your white embossing on the various colours - it really pops! You are lucky you can work with bleach - I can't tolerate the smell - what a lovely effect you've created! I'm especially loving the peach and black colour combo! These are all so pretty! If I have time, I'll check out the hop tomorrow!
How fun! Your projects are sooo pretty - I love how you used the bleach technique! I always forget about that one ;) A great set of cards!
All of these look amazing! I think my favorite is the one with the cute bunny :-)
Wow De, such an inspiring post. I just love your cards and am so interested in the 'bleaching' of the images/stamps. I have been reading this a lot lately and the results as you have shown, are fabulous. You are one clever and inspiring lovely lady....hugs to you.xx[aNNie]

Gorgeous, all of them!
Isn't it fabulous how by using one technique you can get such a variety of results? These are all stunning, of course! The coloring on the peach and black one really catches my eye - simply gorgeous and then the framework on the blue bunny one is amazing - love your creativity when it comes to framework! Thanks for all the wonderful ideas Miss Donna!
These are beautiful Donna, the embossed stamping looks lovely on it's own but even more so with the fabulous techniques you've employed. I've never tried using bleach on my cards, the effect is fabulous...coloured or uncoloured!

WOW! You always go a step above and this SET of gorgeous cards highlights your vast array of talent! I haven't done the bleaching technique in years and don't think my cards EVER looked this good when done lol! Thanks for inspiration on using that technique. Each and every card is just beautiful ... love how you've shown a variety of ways to showcase this beautiful stamp set! Well done as always!!
Wow! These creations are all absolutely AMAZING Donna!! I just LOVE the whimsical flowers and what a fantastic idea to bleach out the areas to color in...I've done this before, but you have inspired me to try it out again! Every detail you've put into these design is perfect!! Beautifully done my friend! HUGS :)
Wow! I love them all. I think my favorite, though, is the blue one colored with the variety of colors. That one just pops to me. Great job, Donna. You should play in the Mod Squad Challenge this week.
Okay... I love these flowers and LOVE your cards! I'm more tempted than ever to go shopping now. But that always happens when I can't get to my stamping. We're painting the room and it's a mess. However, you've gotten to me. Love them with the bleaching technique and all the sparkle. Also, the way you used the Chloe stem on the blue card is brilliant, but that's just one detail I love. There are so many details to love on this collection of cards. The last card with no bleaching, but with the blue shading is brilliant. Very simple with only the cute bunny. Just WOW!
These are gorgeous Donna, love the various designs and wonderful colour combinations. The sparkle is gorgeous too.
Hugs

What a lovely collection of cards using the same stamp, but having such different looks, Donna!!!! I really love the look you achieved with the bleaching and all the glitter is sooooooo lovely!!!! Such great new products and I'll have to go and watch that video!!!! Always such a joy to come visit here!!!!
Have a great day, my friend!!!!!
Big hugz!!!!
The variation in the different cards is wonderful. My favorite is your use of the orange and blue, opposites on the color wheel so both colors look more vibrant!
Wonderful set of cards with these flowers. I like the techniques you used.
Awesome flower stamp and thanks for a very educating post too. I realize there are so many techniques I still haven't tried, or even heard of, and it's so fascinating to see you use the same stamp in different ways. I think I still could use my supplies more than I do, but I'm trying to be conscious about reusing my stamps in different ways. And posts like this one is so inspiring.
Oh dear me- I just LOVE these cards and don't think it would occur to me to try bleach on black like this- sure is beautiful! I love with and without coloring. The blue is stunning as well- love the way you cover up boo-boo's and fly aways as well- love the tinsel edging. Beautiful work!!!
