It's time for a new Challenge at Two Crafty Critter Crazies

I especially like the little hearts cascading from the sweet little girl birdie.
Revealing the steps below shows how this image is pretty without much embellishment:
After dry embossing my card and adhering the sweet Little Love Birds image (colored with Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 Color Pencils with Gamsol, Distress Oxides (Broken China, Cracked Pistachio) with water, I stamped the sentiment with Warm Breeze Versafine Clair ink and heat embossed with Clear Detail Powder:
Spellbinders Scalloped Edge Frame was woven with shiny Really Reasonable Ribbon's double faced satin ribbon in aqua:
Then I added some foliage (Cottage Cutz Greenery 4x4) in turquoise vellum, flowers and a handmade bow.
Such a sweet, texture-laden card which was fun to make start to finish!
Yikes! No glitter! (giggle)

Well, I am so proud and pleased that you made such a magnificent and gorgeous card without the use of glitter. Not that glitter isn't nice but with this design and the pretty ribbon frame and all those cute birds design and colors you did not need anything more to bring it to life. I am just loving it and I am never disappointed when you make a card. The little details add so much.
We always have deviled eggs for Easter and many other times when we get together as a family. I am going to check out your recipe and see if it differs a lot from mine. I may have to change my way of thinking as yours look so delicious.
Om, my gosh, Donna, this is incredible! I love your color combo and that ribbon woven through the die cut is fantastic! That's something I love to do but I think yours is the best I've ever seen. Great use of that darling image and I love, love, LOVE the bow. Terrific brick background.
That's one of the cutest bird images ever! I love how you've colored the birds with the green and blue shading. So perfect! Very fun to see how the card evolved into something utterly delightful. Love the one step at a time photos! We don't have Easter eggs here anymore, but I love deviled eggs! I have a couple of different ways I like to make them, but my favorite is with horseradish sauce. These colored eggs would be fun to take to a potluck! You could even do them different colors, depending on the occasion.
Oh Donna those two are just adorable, love your coloring and shading around it. Love the background embossing and lovely die to frame them. So love the weaving of the pretty ribbon and that bow is just amazing!!

This card is so dreamy! I LOVE the colors and the way they melt into each other. Those Love Birds are the sweetest! I also looooooooooooooove the way you threaded your pretty ribbon through that die and your bow is lovely! Oh and those eggs! lol I may have to make them with Penny sometime! FUN!
