Bugaboo Valentine

Bugaboo Style is exactly what my husband enjoys when it comes to cards made for him...

so today's card is made according to the February Catch The Bug Challenge guidelines --

KEEP IT SIMPLE

No Glitter - no metallics -

Simple it is - colored with my beloved Prisma Color Pencils (they had been squealing with neglect)!

This card is all about Light!

Jack is my Light during my hardest trials and deepest physical difficulties.
He is always there - patiently helpful and lovingly supportive.

So without further ado - here is my Valentine "Jack Style"!

Products used:
Bugaboo's "You Light Up My Life"
SB Marvelous Squares, SB Squares, SB Decagons (interior)
Prisma Color Pencils, Straw Distress Ink
Computer Generated Sentiment

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone - the tradition began with a compassionate man - and it is still all about being compassionate and kind toward not only the needy, but to those we care deeply for.

love,

I love Jodie's fun images, this one is no exception. Haven't colored it up yet myself, haven't had a design idea for it yet. Love what you did, adding several layers but keeping it all simple. Hope your hubby loved it, from your description it does sound like this is cup of tea. I love it.

What a great Valentine!! Loving the sunny yellow. NO GLITTER! This must have been hard for you, LOL! But the results are perfect and I am sure he loved it. You gotta love a guy that stood at the alter and said for better or worse and meant it! Wonderful card, hope you hade an equally wonderful Valentines day with that special guy.

I am loving this flat and no ado card. You are just so creative and I like what you say about being compassionate on Valentine's day. I wish I could be that way too. Sometimes it takes me a while to heal and bring back the compassionate factor in me.
For Valentine's day, I gave cards to my girls and a heart shaped chocolate and I baked heart shaped cookies for the girls.

Lots of love,
M

Some amazing pencil coloring, those lights just glow so well. I like the masculine look of this design, ditto on the colors. I also liked that you sneaked in just a bit of 'dress up' with the little white mat...added a nice touch without being frilly. Good contrast to the other mat colors. I KNOW DH liked this one! You used that image wonderfully well. TFS & Hugs

What? No glitter? Did you suffer from withdrawal pains, LOL? The card looks great. I love the papers you chose for the multiple matting. Perfect for this card. Great job on the coloring! You even got the highlights on the metal parts. I love Prismacolor pencils too.
