Christmas {Scrapy Land}

A Happy Hello from Warm, Sunny Florida!
Hard to believe we are nearly at the end of another year.

Pretty Die-Versions snowflakes adorn today's card.

Challenge #31 at Scrapy Land is
Anything Goes with die cuts.

To enter the challenge follow the theme AND use any die brand that Scrapy Land sells
and become eligible for a fabulous prize and badges!

My cards measure 6 inches square, and A7 (5" x 7") using the following "mix-and-match" dies from three Scrapy Land manufacturers.

(Scrapy Land dies shown below with their links)

Both frames are dark purple, and the middle
dry-embossed paper is a metallic lavender.
The ornate white frame and Snowflakes are coated with glittery
Sparkle Embossing Powder.
This photo shows the metallic lavender a bit more realistically.
is among my favorite for the pretty details.

The metallic paper is textured and dry embossed.
Snowflakes are adorned with sparkly rhinestones.
The square card took a little longer to create because of the heat embossed snowflakes and frame, and the extra inked areas.

But the rectangular card was very fast and easy.

Even though dimensional adhesive was used, both cards are relatively flat for mailing purposes.

Looking forward to seeing your creations on the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog!

They are both gorgeous Donna! Love all the texture you have created especially in the square one. The layering of the die cuts and the dry embossing to the textured cardstock really makes it extra special.

Gorgeous, Donna! Loving those die cuts and how you layered them together for the best effect. The one with Santa & Reindeer is spectacular!
I saw these at The Outlawz but didn't see them entered into the Inlinkz over there. Did you forget that step? :-D

I've almost forgot the concept of "warm and sunny" Donna, our weather is dreaful, not so much cold but just dull, windy and rainy day after day. I would almost welcome some frosty days as it usually leads to some sunny days.

Lovely deep and rich colours on your card and nice depth and dimension as well.

At first I thought the colors where in metallic browns and I thought how stunning but as I went down I could see the dark purple and lavender much better and I love the colors (I do have these metallic papers and they are beautiful anyway). I love these dies that pierced the card stock they add a wonderful touch. Wonderful dry embossing the snowflakes look fantastic. How fun is your pierced rectangle card, again love all the stunning layers, embossing folder and Santa. I would love to tried some cuts with you on anything I have. Just let me know what you would like. After Christmas would be nice.

You and these dies sure made some beautiful cards together, Donna! I love how you layer and combine them. Such a great idea to layer the Santa sleigh die cut over the center ornate oval and stamp the sentiment under it. Really love the embossed shimmery metallic paper. I believe I have some that color. It's very nice with the plum. I have so many pretty embossing powders and several of them are sparkly like this. I'm usually trying to do quiet stamping in the early morning, but maybe I should emboss some die cuts ahead of time. That sounds like fun! Thanks for such beautiful inspiration!
