Today's story
Surrounded by love, Guinevere Mermaid is spending time alone,
using the days to expand her heart,
and to discover dreams that will make her world more
meaningful to herself and others, especially those in need.

Both cards are colored with the same inks,
but different die shapes and stencils were used.

Guinevere Mermaid is stamped with Cheerful Yellow Versafine Clair and heat set with white detail embossing powder. I wish Versafine Clair came in a white!
Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink is the primary base, and is used in the foliage as well. The underwater foliage is done with the Spanish Moss Foliage set.
A little Antique Linen Oxide provides a grounding for the rocks and sandy areas.
The glitter dots around the "wish" were done with my favorite detail adhesive - Quickie Glue Pen. It's my go-to product for certain intricate jobs, and I've used it for as long as it has been on the market.
The star brads are heated up and dipped into Cerulean Glitter EP, where the EP melts in place:

I used an Aqua Prismacolor Pencil in certain places to define shadows.

The Every Dream sentiment was stamped with Nocturne Versafine Clair onto vellum and heat set with clear detail EP.

Love this mermaid stamp. She is so detailed! You bring up a good point, Donna. I wonder why there isn't a VFC White? I love the detail on the sentiment too! The stenciling and colored background is so pretty. Both cards are beautifully enchanting!

These are absolutely lovely. She's a beauty and I love the colors that you've used. I'm glad to see that someone still uses brads once in a while and you dipped and heated them which is a great technique. [Bunny]

You’re so great at building up scenes using your Lavinia stamps and inks and stencils. These cards are both gorgeous, Donna.
Beautiful. I love her watery home and those dies are lovely. I love the heart one! Colors are so pretty too very serene, which is just what we need right now. Fabulous cards, Donna, as always.

Guinevere is having some alone time like the rest of us. I wonder if there's a Mr. Guinevere? Hmmm... that makes me wonder about all kinds of things in regard to mermaids. Nevermind. Before I forget, I want to say that I don't think you were heavy handed at all with the inks and stencil. All along I was admiring the stenciled underwater background. I love the mermaids embossed in white. These are beautiful cards, Donna.
What a creative idea to use the Spanish Moss as seaweed. I've often thought if it could be used upside down, and now I see how beautiful it'll look, so off to add it to my wish list :-) Love your set of cards, Donna. The colours, stenciled backgrounds and the pretty frames all work together to create a magical masterpiece.
