I'm so glad you're here, dear blogging friends!
It is FAIRY NICE to see you!
I am using this incredible Fairy Tangles Umbrella Fairy digital image that I just HAD to purchase some time ago, but has never been used. Sound familiar?
It's always a pleasure mixing and matching die cuts and making wonky frames.
For a little extra texture, I added sparkly Pine Star Embossing Powder to the Tonic Swirling Frame Layering Die Set, which has a slightly marbled appearance. It affords great coverage AND interesting cast of hues as it glitters and sparkles:
For a little extra interest, Meadow Sparkle Ultrafine Glitter (a slightly different color green) was adhered on the Tropical Flourish die cut.
The card is topped off with an old Hero Arts Poetic Prints Danselfly and REALLY old embellishment at the top left, and pretty flowers with feathers in the bottom left. Another oldie is the Martha Stewart Geometric Shapes border punch. I'm sad she is not making more punches - I really liked her line.
It is always a pleasure seeing your artful treasures,

Wow Donna, this is just magical! I love all of your wonderful layers of fancy die cut borders, and that offset layer is a fabulous design element. Your flower arrangement with the glittery flourishes and the amazing green feather is pure elegance. I think the show stopper for me today though, is that incredible image! WOW, what a glorious fairy and you have coloured her to perfection with a cheery palette and amazing shading! This card is absolutely fantastical my friend!!
So all of our snow melted away on the weekend, but now we are expecting more today! I'm not as excited about it as I would have been a few weeks ago, so I'm hoping the warm temperatures will melt it lickety split! Sending hugs, hope you're feeling well today :)

There's just so much to like about this card that I can't possibly list it all. The coloring on the fairy -- her dress, her umbrella, her scarf -- all those tiny spaces to color in and done so perfectly. Her arm and elbow look so real, Donna. Boy I wish I could color like you. You are so talented! I also love that Tonic frame set; how pretty is that! This is just remarkable and so full of beautiful layering. You'd be so fun to sit and make cards with; I could learn so much from you.
Such a stunning card, Donna! The fairy image is gorgeous and your colouring has really brought her to life. Beautiful framing using all those lovely dies. And feathers ... and glitter ... wow!! ... what more could a girl ask for? :) xx
So much bright color, so much texture, and what an interesting design layout. LOVE that umbrella. Did you color the tangles or use paper piecing? Love all the different die shapes and the way you've framed out the focal point with the wonky asymmetrical piece, and of course the wonderful swirly glittery bits that make up the gorgeous bouquet. Oh my, this must have taken some time to create! Well done! TFS & Hugs
As always you created another beautiful card. The colors, layers, punches and the coloring of the fairy are magnificent
wonderful coloring of her and the framing is so creative and neat! I love the sparkle you have added to go along with the lovely flowers!

Very creative!
I remembered decades ago, when I was in elementary, I had all the eagerness and enthusiasm to do arts and crafts in class. This is a great and conventional hobby. I'm sure the recipients of these art works will be so much delighted and appreciative.
Warm regards,
Ida
This is stunning! Lovely fresh and fruity colors!!

What a beautiful, amazing, fantastic card with that incredible image! Your coloring leaves me speechless. You truly have a gift. And all those layered frames and special touches... another of your gifts. Of course, fairies leave plenty of sparkle everywhere they go, so you've got plenty of that, too. Perfect!
