How'd THAT happen?

I'm in "whacky" mode today with a silly card for the

Monday House Mouse and Friends Challenge.

How'd THAT happen?

  • Did they drink too much Colloidal Silver?
  • Were they feeling Blue and "blue" just happened?
  • Did they try and try until they turned blue in the face, and ultimately, had an accident?
  • Were they transformed during a Blue Moon event?
  • Is it a Halloween costume effect gone awry?
Amanda is trying her best to help her chipmunk buddy. Something tells me both of them were lucky that things did not become even MORE serious. Giggling. What do YOU think they were up to?

Are there clues in the list of recovery rules?

Pigmented with Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 Color Pencils and Gamsol these mischievous friends were fun to color (although my friends were shaking their heads in disbelief - I can see their point).

Thanks for brightening my day with your visit!

  7. This is wonderful Donna! Love the colours and of course that cute image, sure to bring a smile to someone who is feeling under the weather and perhaps a bit sorry for themselves! I'm going to remember that sound advice- and next time I fall off the birdbath I promise not to chew off my bandages. Thanks for the smiles!

  13. LOL! I agree, Mac! They were TOTALLY doing something they should not have been doing. It's something I would get caught at, too, so I am not too hard on them. In fact, I enjoy giggling with them as much as I do at myself. Thanks for asking about feeling -- I am learning to adjust to the "new plateau" and am now back in the stage of feeling grateful for my little life, and ESPECIALLY GRATEFUL for those in my little life - people like you. love, de

  24. Ha Ha, think he is blue from eating too much food from the bird feeders. Wonderful coloring of it all! Love that gorgeous die to frame it all.

  25. How fabulous to see your post today, Donna! I'm a couple of days late, but never mind that. Been pretty swamped. I LOVE that you made them blue! Could be any of the above reasons. I think I saw this one in my bird feeder, so I think the fall made him black and blue and the other is blue for sympathy. Really love the frame. This is all just so fun and cute!

  26. LOL! I think you all are right! Those sweet little critters unwittingly were part of the COVID trials, mistakenly thought they were birds, found themselves in a feeder, became tipsy with joy at all the seeds, fell from the feeder, and sustained black and blue bruises! Then again, they could have escaped from a lab full of radioactive elements - like from a mad scientist - (giggling).

  27. Donna, these little blue critters are just so darn cute and I love the little story behind their colour. I'm thinking that it is the blue moon magic that's turned them blue. Would hate to think they're sad and blue, although they have been in an accident, poor little mites. :)
Thank you for the chuckle and for joining us over at The Outlawz Colour Challenge.
