Maybe Autumn has finally arrived in Florida! The mornings have cooled to the 60s (upper teens C).
Today I have a simple A2 size easel card using Sparkle N Sprinkle's cute new sets "Snow One Like You" and "Flourishes One". Smaller cards are difficult for me.

I like the tiny Prills in the centers of all the flowers - so pearly!
The image and sentiment are stamped directly on glitter, and colored with Copic Markers.
Except for dimensionals, I used Brushable Glue in adhering all the glittery layers to afford a little wiggle room.
The Velvet Glitter was adhered with Super Adhesive Sheets. It is very thin, so my Spellbinders dies cut right through it, even with the protective layers in place.
TIP: in the corners, Mediterranean Star EP was applied. Before heating, a little Diamond Dust Chunky Glitter was sprinkled on top. When I heated the EP from under the card, rather than above, the melted EP firmly adhered the Diamond Dust Chunky Glitter in place.

A dreamy, sparkly winter wonderland and sweet snowman with his pretty poinsettias. Those flower centers are perfect. Love his sweet expression. Every detail is exquisite. The frame looks like some kind of special ultra-pretty vellum. Just love that! I'll have to remember about the EP and chunky glitter combo. Oh, and I never would have thought to stamp on the glitter. You're just full of beautiful and fabulous surprises!

ReplyDeleteThis is the time of year where I get to start being jealous of your gorgeous weather. I have been waking up to frost most morning with early temperatures hovering right around freezing. First snow expected in about two weeks. Hubby dug out the snow shovel already, but on the bright side, it is quite a good work out :)

Now that is some snowy glittery goodness right there girlfriend. This snowman is precious. I love the blues and the Poinsettia are precious with those little pearl centers. Boy you must have some great tweezers to pick those babies up and place them so perfectly!!! I would probably have them all over the place. Just yesterday I got home from work and found a piece of foam tape on the bottom of my foot. I was in the shower and everything and never noticed it. Had to laugh about that. It was a backing from a Jolee Flower I removed-I ended up wearing it...lol
