My blog is called "Creative Smiles" because my designs are the result of incorporating mistakes. With fumble fingers that drop whatever they are holding - repeatedly, it takes a lot of giggles, smiles and creative patience during my crafting process. xx

Using Digitals - Back to Basics and Beyond

It's another blog post from me!
Thanks for stopping by.
Hope all is going well for you.

It's time for another
Back to Basics and Beyond Challenge!

For the next two weeks, join us by uploading an "Anything-Goes" challenge as long as a digital image is used.

In this case, I colored this Vintage Country Home Digital Set with Copic Markers - however - as a digital set, it is available done in these colors and in a more vintage color theme as well, so you have 3 options. There are also three sentiments, one is shown here.

The green sparkly frame is actually an embossing powder called Tuscany Pear Star. Love the rich color and sparkle! The leaves under the bow are glittered with Ocean Breeze Microfine Glitter.

Here it is in CAS styles:

Lovely image and how great that it comes in colored versions as well. I’m thinking of expanding my very small collection of pre colored I ages, they’re great for last minute cards. Even though I’m making cards all year round I still have situations where I’m in lack of a card last minute. ... it’s a beautiful all glittered up card, your signature style.

Lovely card, Donna! That is the kind of house that I would love to live in, except mine has to have a wrap around porch (my kids are rolling their eyes at that - I'm obsessed with them). Beautifully colored, you have the patience that I lack. The bling takes it over the top - LOVE it!!

Another blog post, another couple of inspiring, gorgeous cards! I always used to want a house like this -- lived in something similar a few years growing up -- but now I'm glad I don't have to clean and maintain it. What a lovely image for a card. Those sparkly blue leaves, sigh... You know I love the special little touches like that!
