Sasayaki Glitter - 2 Crafty Critter Crazies

Hello, Critter-loving Friends!
I'm so happy to be seeing you again.

It's time for a new challenge at

2 Crafty Critter Crazies!

Sasayaki Glitter is sponsoring December's challenge, which ends December 30. A random winner is selected, and a guest designer for the upcoming month is chosen.

I am featuring Little Miss Teacup Mouse!

Colored with Copic Markers, she slurped her way through yummy hot chocolate in her china teacup. Even her fur coloring changed to a rich chocolate hue!

The teacup was coated with VersaMarker, and heat set with SNS clear detail embossing powder. Great shine, isn't it? (All that "white" in the cup is actually shine from the light on the clear EP)

Burnished Bronze Dream Weaver stencil paste was applied to K and Company designer paper, and allowed to dry into this amazing color!

The dies are Spellbinders Labels 8, and Sue Wilson Melbourne.

I accidentally dropped my round die cut with the mousie, and it adhered in the wrong place on the card, but that's how it goes sometimes. The adhesive was too strong to pull back up. Has that happened to you?
(While it's sad that it fell where it did, at least it fell relatively straight, right?) lol

The background cardstock was dry embossed and inked with the same abandoned coral distress ink as the image's circle.

Thank you for popping by today!
Don't forget to upload your creations that feature a critter at

2 Crafty Critter Crazies!

hugs,
Donna

That image is a real sweetie Donna and the gilding really glistens beautifully, not always easy to catch on camera.

Oh my goodness, Donna. This is so cute. What lovely coloring and such a cute image. I love the bronze and the clear embossing powder.

Who makes that sentiment? I love hot chocolate. Not cocoa, but chocolate.

I'm so sorry you dropped the mouse but he fell into a great spot. I have had this happen before. Ugh! Sometimes I've been able to take it off and other times it's ruined the card. When you've put so much effort into the project it can be aggravating. Can we say recycle bin? [Bunny]

The frame is wonderful, intricate and fancy and draws the eye right to the little guy! The background is so elegant, that metallic damask design is divine! This is gorgeous Donna. Love the shine on the cup and the bronzing on the backing paper. Only talented you could drop the die cut just where it doesn't matter and still look fantastic. You have the talent in everything. Lol!!!

You have been busy lately! Wow, love the gloss on the tea cup and the beautiful shimmer you added to the paper. I frequently have to make the best of a fumbled situation. Mine aren't always savable, but yours turned into a cute design feature. Adorable little mousie!

Oh, I thought you'd placed the circle with image there on purpose, going over the edge. I like that, what a lucky mishap indeed. And that background with bronze detailing, how exclusive looking! It's a fun, gorgeous card!

Has that ever happened to me???? Naaaah! Have I ever told you I have a glue phobia? Mainly this happens to me with adhesive tape. But had you not said anything about the mishap, I would have never known.

What a gorgeous card! That shiny teacup is amazing, and your copper stenciling is ooooh, la! La! Lovely! Tempting me, again! Hugs!
