Sugar Plum Snow Ballerina {Scrapy Land #32}

Best Wishes to all for a very happy holiday season,
and may the new year be especially good to you and yours!

Welcome new followers Cara Malmrose of My Creative Chaos, Cheri Weston of Stamp'n Boomer, Jenny Alia of Jen's Paper Obsession

Today I have fun card share for Challenge #32 at Scrapy Land
For those who enjoy the Nutcracker Suite At Christmas Time
it's...
The Sugar Plum Snow Ballerina!

Challenge #32 at Scrapy Land is
Anything Christmas/Holiday Goes with die cuts.

To enter the challenge follow the theme AND use any die brand that Scrapy Land sells
and become eligible for a fabulous prize and badges!

My card measures A7 (5" x 7") using the following "mix-and-match" dies from three Scrapy Land manufacturers.

(Scrapy Land dies shown below with their links)
Poppy Stamps Poinsettia Bloom

We would love for you to become a Follower of the Scrapy Land Facebook page and the new Pinterest boards.

I'm not sure where I acquired this graphic. It was lightly precolored, so I added the blue and some extra pink, to bring out the "sugar plum" theme. It's a silly, sweet creation.

Looking forward to seeing your creations on the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog!

NOTE: A glimpse into the future! Hope you enjoy!

She's so cute and sparkly! Love the colors you've used. and the Chloe stems are a wonderful addition to the card. Great thinking! Very creative use of dies as always, giving so much more dimension to your work. Love it Donna. Are your gorgeous cacti in a sunny spot - I can't get mine to bloom this year at all?

WOW, Donna, where do I start? How about at the very top? I love your blog masthead -- gorgeous for the Christmas season. Then the card -- that glittery snow ballerina is adorable. I love the lace and the delicate die cuts! The pink color combo is fabulous and is a color I rarely think to use for Christmas but I always love it when I see it. The splash of blue in the CS layer and on the image is perfection. Wonderful flower embellie. Next, your Christmas cactus plants are doing so well. I'm afraid mine had their enthusiasm dulled by the freezing overnights last week and this. All the blooms are completely gone. :( Finally, Tinkerbell wearing the Santa hat in your signature block is delightful. How appropriate that she's all sparkly, too. :-D Hugs, NC

Very cute little snow woman or girl. Gorgeous card as well as your Christmas cacti. Have a beautiful weekend and a very Merry Christmas.

Oh, my gosh, I love the snow ballerina! If she was a stamp or a digi I would say I MUST have her! Love how you enhanced her with the extra color and sparkle. I can see the Chloe stem is a must have, too, and the larger poinsettia is a good size for your card. I have the smaller one. One of these days I'll have to get the matching dies for some of my decorative labels. Really love the pretty trim you added. Perfect for a ballerina! When I see your gorgeous card it makes me want to go dress something up! Such a delight! Happy holidays, Donna!

I always can't wait to stop by and see what you created and I love everything. Want to tell you your Christmas Cacti are stunning this year. The stitching is wonderful. Had to keep going up and down to see what you did with each die and love how you got them all to work together and LOVE the layers. You went over the top with the colors just wonderful on both cards and the sparkle fantastic. Your snowman is just delightful and you do not say who makes her, just as cute as can be. Merry Christmas my friend.

Oh Donna, this is so fun and so adorable! I love that sweet little fairy snowman (snowgirl?) with her glittery tutu! All the lacy embellishments and die cut frames add lovely texture and detail. Our printer went kaput so I can't even print out digi stamps until we get around to buying a new printer...but looks like I'm going to want to start checking them out after seeing this. Your Christmas cacti are so lush and gorgeous as well. I have one, which was given to me about 7 years ago and this is the first year it hasn't bloomed. I think that I'll cut it back and re-pot it after the holidays to see if I can give it new life. Thanks so much for sharing your designs with us and have a merry Christmas!
