My blog is called "Creative Smiles" because my designs are the result of incorporating mistakes. With fumble fingers that drop whatever they are holding - repeatedly, it takes a lot of giggles, smiles and creative patience during my crafting process. xx

Lovely to have a card from you today. This is a perfect little patchwork heart, and the colors just sing. Of course all the lace, distressed edges, butterflies and gleaming banners just add more icing to this 'cake'. Love, Love that frontage...wish I could get it to work so splendidly. TFS the fix-it tutorial. I learn so much from other's mistakes (make plenty of my own, so it's helpful to know a fix!). The lacy die on the inside is making me drool for another die! TFS & Hugs - hope the week is going just great for you

Hello, dear Donna! It is so nice to see you've been able to do a little crafting - that warms my heart! And such a beautiful card you have made. The patchwork heart stamp is very pretty and I like the die-cut hearts surrounding it. Your colour choices are so soft and beautiful and I like to see the sparkle and frantage you've added. The butterflies make such a nice touch. The distressing looks awesome! I would never have guessed you made a mistake in this card as it is not noticeable at all - thank you for sharing what you did for the fix! Wishing you all my best, Donna. Sending hugs and healing prayers.

Ha! Sometimes those blunders turn into the greatest cards! I once accidentally stitched a card closed and had to turn the whole thing into an extra layer. I love all the distressing and the inside embossed and how you always leave no detail unattended. I recently got that banner die and love it. The lace and butterflies are so pretty. It's lovely to see you here again, Donna!

Hi Donna. Thank you for your lovely comments on my card.
The shape is cut from a Noor Design stencil which I cut out twice so that I could create a back for the card so it does in fact open as a card.
Hope you are well.
